So, this was the 2nd match for the DCG Ladies 2nd team and yet again they fought courageously to earn a draw. In fact, looking back it was a little bit like ‘ground hog’ day aside from a couple of team changes due to injury or availability the match followed a very similar path to that the week before as can be seen from the results sheet. The hospitality provided by Erewash Valley GC was second to none as was the assistance provided by the professional shop. The course itself was presented in a wonderful condition and this was able to support some amazing golf by both teams. Whilst wins are obviously what we are looking for, 2 draws mean we are still very much in the running.
