Adjustments: Mens Derbyshire Seniors: 1.0 |
Yorkshire team with a combined Handicap Index of plus 2.5 proved to strong for Derbyshire Seniors, at Matlock, a gallant effort with no heavy defeats, a notable performance from John Wedgewood & Mick Jarvis the only home winners.
Our thanks must go to Yorkshire Captain John Grimbleby for his determination that the match go ahead, a very big thank you to Matlock Golf Club as fine hosts, a special mention to Christian Goodman for ensuring a safe , well organised & enthusiastic welcome.
Thanks too, to Derbyshire President & long standing Matlock member Cynthia Machent for starter duties in very unwelcome conditions.
