An Update from the Board
We would like to share an update with members and partners regarding our Secretary, Richard.
Due to illness, Richard has had to step back from his role at this time in order to focus on his health and recovery. While this is understandably a period of change for the organisation, our priority is very much supporting Richard as he takes the time he needs.
Richard has given an extraordinary amount of time, care and expertise to Derbyshire County Golf over many years. His commitment, professionalism and deep knowledge have played a huge part in the smooth running and continued success of the organisation, and his contribution cannot be overstated.
In the short term, Richard’s responsibilities will be shared across the Board as we work through the many tasks and functions he carried out so magnificently. We ask for your patience and understanding during this period as we ensure everything continues to operate as effectively as possible.
Above all, we would like to wish Richard a full and speedy recovery and thank him sincerely for everything he has done for Derbyshire County Golf. We know many within the county golf community will join us in sending him their very best wishes and support.
