The final match of the season brought Shropshire and Hereford to Shirland .

There were good wins in the first three games, with Jacob Kenworthy and Shearer Chohan winning 2&1, Tom Weeks and Adam Gentles winning 4&2 and Quinn Tinkler partnering debutant Jake Else winning 4&3.

Matthew Edwards and Jack Guy, who look like a good partnership for next season also winning 2&1.

There were narrow defeats on the 17^th green for Oliver Neal and Louis Sutton and Joe Streets and Cameron Wood. Both of these matches good have gone either way, particularly for Streets and Wood, who until that point had been no more than 1 down.

So the season came to an end with a win.

There were a number of players for whom this was their last game in the Under 14 Squad, and I would like to thank them, and their parents for the support they have given over the last year, and wish them well for their future playing hopefully for the Under 16s and Under 18s.
