Mickleover do the Double
Well, another dramatic finish to the Trophy season – in more ways than one!
The teams and their supporters were most warmly welcomed to Ashbourne Golf Club, the course looked fantastic and the weather was lovely.
The matches were all hard-fought, especially the Bronze match where none of the games finished before the 17th and the result was decided on the 19th!
DCG President, Pete McGrath, was there to present the trophies. Commiserations and well-played to the runners-up, Horsley Lodge in the Silver and Breadsall Priory in the Bronze.
Many congratulations and well-played to the Mickleover teams who did the double – very fitting in their centenary year!

Both Finals held at Mickleover GC on Friday 22nd September.
Well, another Ladies season comes to an end with the finals of the Inter Club Foursomes.
A mixed day weather wise but the rain in general kept away.
The matches were all keenly contested and DCG President, Pete McGrath, was on hand to present the trophies. Thanks to all for their participation and friendship.
