Fantastic golf was played last Tuesday at Kedleston in the Handicap match against Staffordshire. The team turned up full of energy and determination, and it was great to have reserves Olivia and Gabby there to support and enjoy their own friendly game too. Ella and Izzy led in match 1 and 2 with some phenomenal golf, both near to level par through 9 holes. Eleanor, Millie and Jess had very close matches and were fighting for the wins against some very good Staffs players. Izzy managed to secure a strong 5 & 4 win for Derbyshire which ended up being our only point! The other matches could have gone either way but the Staffordshire girls were the winners on the day. Very proud of the Derbyshire team for their fantastic attitude in spite of the result, and for the support they continue to show each other. Thanks to Ella for acting Captain on the day and thank you to Kedleston Park GC for hosting the match. Well done Girls, look forward to seeing you soon.
