Worcestershire Match Report

Droitwich Golf Club 26^th July

After what was the hottest day of the year we arrived at Droitwich hoping for a win. Sadly, over the five matches we only managed to win two, so overall losing 6 points to 4. To be fair however, at least two of those games could have gone our way, with Jacob Kenworthy and Gavin Ingram losing on the 18^th green, and Oliver Neal and Shearer Chohan on the 17^th.

Again a good performance from Quinn Tinkler and Matthew Edwards who only took 12 holes to see off their opponents, and Josh Stephens and his partner Adam Gentles winning 4&3.

At this point the only match left on the course involved Joe Streets and Cameron Wood, but sadly they were not left out there for long, losing 3&1.

Thanks to parents and supporters who made the trip to Droitwich, not the easiest of places to get to, and certainly more difficult to get back from with a 40 minute delay on the M42.
