This is always a tough fixture for the Derbyshire Squad, made more difficult this year with the amount of players unavailable. The result was a first loss this year for the squad 5-0.

Thanks go to Mickleover Golf Club for hosting. The course was in great condition for early season. The half way house was staffed by County President Cynthia Machent and Past Captain Margaret Brooks, they make a great cup of tea! Thanks also to Sam Gilbert for sorting out the Mickleover team and for negotiating the handicap system.
