Before the Lincolnshire match started we already had a win for our team as they were a girl short. This motivated all of us and made us work hard to win this match with the advantage we had! We knew we would only have to win two matches but this would still be a challenge we would have to overcome (and we sure did).

This match started off with an absolutely cracking performance from the first player Hannah, winning her match very early on (winning 7&6). Continuing on from this Imi fought her best battle until the end but unfortunately was defeated by a very good player.  Then came Lucy who managed to half her round giving us another half of a point against Lincolnshire. Next up was me; I played a good game and managed to win the match 6&5 against my opponent. This left us with a 3 ½ to 1 ½  victory and this against a team who beat us 5-0 last time out!

I’d just like to say an amazing well done to all of the girls who took part, we all did amazing and everyone should be so proud. I look forward to the rest of our county matches I’m sure we will smash them all this year!
